One Generous Act campaign in the service of the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces

The Heartbreak

Every year over 6,000 Veterans Commit Suicide¹, 400,000 Suffer from Invisible Wounds and 4-million have a Service-Connected Disability.

The Hope and Help

United Relief Foundation and Wellness Rising Coalition Healing for Heroes comprehensive Holistic-Horticultural program will address the health and wellness challenges of Veterans anywhere in America.

Why Now?

Since 2006, the United Relief Foundation for the most part, with the exception of a Good Morning America appearance and other media attention, has quietly gone about doing the good deeds that make profound differences and the time has come do even more by engaging our Hope and Help Partners like Wellness Rising Coalition to compound the good we are doing by being of service to Veterans across America.

Why This Program?

Respectful of other veterans support organizations, Healing for Heroes Holistic-Horticultural program will compound the good in so many ways, connect generous individual's anywhere in America and make profound, lasting differences.

Veteran Support and Social Organizations, Government Agencies, Educational Institutions, Service Clubs and, Health and Wellness Professionals will be able to self-administrate our Healing for Heroes Holistic-Horticultural program.

You are a whole, made up of interrelated parts. Your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects depend on one another for well-being. When one is disrupted, the others suffer as well. This concept is referred to as a whole person or holistic approach.

Horticultural therapy is widely used in a broad range of rehabilitative, vocational, and community settings. It is accepted, and understood to be a beneficial and effective therapy for many individuals with physical impairments, as well as other people suffering from mental instabilities.

Your One Generous Act donation will literally begin sprouting hope and help on the day Healing for Heroes Holistic-Horticultural program is launched on November 11, 2018, Veterans Day.

With the support of Inner Voice and Invenergy, United Relief Foundation has launched a combined Healing for Heroes and Home Sweet Home Stand Tall effort using the 15 resident Eddie Beard Vet House as our Holistic-Horticultural program and Boots on the Ground model for transitional housing.
